“Consistently good, made from scratch, local seafood. A Marathon landmark that's open when everything else isn't. It was built before air conditioning was common, so keep that in mind, if it's important to you.”

“Food was good and plentiful. But service was horrid! The female server was crouchy, cut us off when we talked and walked away when weren't finished asking a question. Didn't offer explanation of menu or suggestions, didn't ask what we wanted to drink just gave everyone water and a pitcher then walked away. She forgot some of our food so she gave us a slice of pie to "make up for it." She rolled her eyes at us and never checked on us. She caught the fact that she forgot some of our food after we were done eating when she was ringing us up because she never checked on us. Then she added her own gratuity to bill instead of us deciding on it. Her attitude and lack of good service didn't deserve ten percent.”

"Had the cracked conch sandwich! It was the best! If you are headed to the keys, be sure to stop at the Cracked Conch Cafe. A friendly staff, Mile marker 50. You won't be disappointed"

“We visited your restaurant this past Mon. 4/15/02 & just wanted to let you know that without question, your Cracked Conch rivals the finest I’ve ever eaten. I’ve NEVER had better anywhere in the country. I’ve enjoyed conch on many Caribbean islands & none were superior to yours. I decided ahead of time to order 2 servings & I wasn’t disappointed. Sadly, Tues. night my wife & I (on a suggestion from our hotel host) dined @ “Lazy Days South” & I made the mistake of ordering they’re Cracked Conch. I couldn’t eat it. It seemed to a “ground” product that was “formed”, over breaded & over fried. Hope you guys remain in business & if you ever decide to get into the mail order business, send me an email.
Thanks for a great dining experience from beginning to end.”

"Cracked Conch Restaurant - been wanting to try this place but the timing was never right in our travels. Tried the Cracked Conch Benedict - heavenly - it was fried, fresh, tender, and delicious with the hollandaise over it and the two eggs- what a treat! The service was awesome and we were offered water 'for the road' being it was hot (low 80's). We will be back to try the seafood omelette which we heard about.” - Joann via Facebook, November 20, 2017
“GREAT FOOD!!! BUT HONESTLY EVERYTHING ELSE ABOUT IT SUCKED!!!! TOOK ALMOST AN HOUR TO BE WAITED ON FOR ANYTHING. THEN THE WAITRESS (DIANE) TOLD US IT WOULD BE EASIER TO PUT IT ALL TOGETHER THEN SEPARATE OUR BILLS AT THE END SO WE SAID "OK" THEN WHEN WE ASK HER TO SEPARATE THEM SHE BECAME QUITE ANNOYED!!! THEN AFTER ALL WAS SAID AND DONE WE WERE ALL WAAAAAY OVERCHARGED. THAT'S ALL!!!!! WILL NOT EVER GO THERE AGAIN!!!!!!” (Sent via The Cracked Conch Cafe)
